Payment & security
How payment is taken, where card data goes, when you are charged, and how this site is secured.
Last updated 18 September 2026
All prices on this site are shown and charged in pounds sterling (GBP £). The price you see on the product page is the price charged at checkout; delivery is added and shown before you pay.
How payment is taken
Payment is taken at checkout by a regulated third-party payment provider. The methods available to you are listed on the checkout page itself, and only the ones that are actually live are shown there. We do not display card-scheme logos anywhere else on this site: showing a payment mark for a method that is not connected would be misleading, so the checkout page is the single source of truth.
Card and PayPal checkout are not switched on yet. Our payment provider account is going through approval. Until it completes, no order can be completed on this site and no payment details of any kind are requested or collected. Email support@aivelo.shop if you want to be told the day checkout opens.
Where card data goes
Card details are entered into the payment provider’s own hosted fields and are sent directly to them. Full card numbers never reach this website, are never stored on our servers and are never visible to us. What we receive back is a confirmation that the payment succeeded, plus the last four digits and the card brand so we can identify the transaction if you contact us about it.
Our payment provider is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) at Level 1. Because payment is handled entirely in their hosted fields, this site is not in scope for storing, processing or transmitting cardholder data.
When you are charged
The full amount, including delivery, is authorised and taken when you place the order. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, no saved cards, no instalment plans and no charges after the fact. One order, one payment.
You will see AIVELO on your statement.
Failed and duplicated payments
If a payment is declined, no order is created and no money leaves your account, although your bank may show a temporary authorisation that clears by itself within a few working days. If you think you have been charged twice, email support@aivelo.shop with the date, the amount and the last four digits of the card and we will trace it and refund any duplicate in full.
How this site is secured
- The whole site is served over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. If your browser does not show a secure connection, do not enter anything — email us instead.
- Passwords for customer accounts are stored as salted hashes. Nobody at AIVELO can read your password.
- Administrative access is limited to the people who run the shop and is protected by unique credentials.
- The platform and its components are kept on supported versions and patched.
- Fonts and scripts are served from this site’s own domain. The pages you browse do not load assets from third-party content networks.
Fraud checks
Our payment provider runs automated fraud and address checks on every transaction. Occasionally a legitimate order is held or declined by those checks. If that happens we will email you — we will never ask you for your full card number, your PIN, your online banking login or a photograph of your card. No message asking for any of those is from us.
Reporting a security problem
If you believe you have found a vulnerability in this site, email support@aivelo.shop with Security in the subject line and enough detail to reproduce it. We will acknowledge within two working days. Please do not publish it before we have had a chance to fix it, and please do not run tests that degrade the service or touch other people’s data.
