Right to cancel
Your statutory 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, how to use it, and the model cancellation form.
Last updated 18 September 2026
Because you are buying online, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a right to cancel that is separate from, and additional to, our own 28-day returns policy. This page sets out that statutory right.
Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you have nominated, takes physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in more than one parcel, the period ends 14 days after the day you receive the last of them.
How to cancel
To exercise the right to cancel you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. Email support@aivelo.shop with your order number, or use the model cancellation form below — you do not have to use the form, and any clear statement is enough. To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your statement before the 14-day period has expired.
Model cancellation form
To AIVELO — support@aivelo.shop
I/We hereby give notice that I/we cancel my/our contract of sale of the following goods:
_______________________________________________
Ordered on / received on: ____________________
Order number: ________________________________
Name of consumer(s): _________________________
Address of consumer(s): ______________________
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ____________________
Date: ________________________________________
Sending the goods back
You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you tell us you are cancelling. Email us for the return address and a return reference first. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before that 14-day period has expired.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend a tracked service, because you must be able to show the goods were sent.
What we refund
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard outbound delivery. If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard one, we reimburse the standard cost only.
We make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you; or
- if earlier, 14 days after the day you supply evidence that you have sent the goods back; or
- if no goods were supplied, 14 days after the day we are informed of your decision to cancel.
We use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, and you will not incur any fees from us as a result of the reimbursement.
Deduction for loss in value
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. In practice: trying a piece on is fine; wearing it out, washing it, removing the tags or damaging it is not, and we may deduct an amount that reflects the loss in value.
How this differs from our 28-day policy
| Statutory right to cancel | Our returns policy | |
|---|---|---|
| Window | 14 days from delivery | 28 days from delivery |
| Outbound delivery charge | Refunded (standard rate) | Not refunded |
| Return postage | Paid by you | Paid by you |
| Reason needed | No | No |
You can always rely on whichever is better for you. Nothing in our own policy reduces the statutory right, and nothing on this site excludes or limits your rights as a consumer.
